The Siachen Glacier is not just a battleground but a testament to the human spirit and the indomitable will of soldiers willing to sacrifice their lives for their country. My troops and I had to move around the location of the equipment to ensure serviceability, inspect it, repair it, and do preventive maintenance. The troops require nerves of steel to maintain their morale. Only your trust and faith in God, that intangible force you imbibed from your parents, school, and college, makes you move on.
